EARTHEN LIVING – STOCK & PRICING MANAGEMENT GUIDE

1. INTRODUCTION

Maintaining accurate stock levels and product pricing is essential for:

  • Smooth order processing
  • Preventing order cancellations
  • Ensing customer trust and satisfaction

This guide explains how to update stock quantity and pricing on the Earthen Living Partner Portal.

2. HOW TO UPDATE PRODUCT STOCK

Follow the steps below to update product stock:

  1. Login to the Earthen Living Partner Portal
  2. Navigate to “Catalog” from the top menu
  3. Locate the product you wish to update
  4. Click on the “Edit” button (under the Action column)
  5. On the product details page, go to the “Data” tab
  6. Find the field “Quantity”
  7. Enter the updated stock quantity
  8. Click “Save” (top right corner)

Result:
The updated stock will be reflected in the Catalog page.

3. HOW TO UPDATE PRODUCT PRICING

Follow the steps below to update pricing:

  1. Go to Catalog → Edit Product (same steps as above)
  2. Navigate to the “Data” tab
  3. Locate the “Price” field
  4. Enter the product price excluding GST
  5. Click “Save”

Result:
Updated pricing will reflect under the Pricing section in the Catalog.

4. IMPORTANT PRICING GUIDELINES

4.1 Price Entry नियम (Critical)

  • The Price field must always be EXCLUDING GST
  • Do NOT enter MRP in the Price field

4.2 Tax Calculation Logic

  • Each product is mapped to a Tax Class (based on HSN code)
  • GST is calculated automatically at runtime based on:
    • Tax class
    • Customer shipping location

4.3 Decimal Precision Requirement

To ensure accurate MRP display:

  • Always enter price up to 4 decimal places

Example:

  • MRP: ₹100.00
  • GST: 18%
  • Correct Price (Excl. GST): ₹84.7457

Incorrect Entry:

  • ₹84.74 → Final MRP shown: ₹99.99 ❌

4.4 Tax Class Validation

Before updating pricing:

  • Verify the correct Tax Class is assigned
  • Incorrect tax class may lead to:
    • Wrong MRP calculation
    • Compliance issues

  • Regularly review stock to avoid overselling
  • Update pricing immediately after cost changes
  • Double-check tax class before saving
  • Maintain consistency across all product listings
